[Guide] How to know which Gen ID is the Item (Alternative)
Well, first off all, if you just want the simple one, you can use this tools shared by sir I'm Not MentaL
came from that, truthfully, for some reason (people here says it common sense), i couldn't use that tool. so i'm really desperately.
then i came to the new idea, with the great result, i don't know, maybe out there, you guys, the genius one already know about this, but for me as a newcomer, this is great to know what i want to know.
this is how it's work, but please prepare this tools :
1. Item Editor
2. Microsoft Excel
3. Your very own eyes :)
-Next step is, open you item editor, then export it to csv files.
-open your csv file using Ms. Excel
-block 1 column, column A, since the csv file only write them in 1 column.
-go to the data, then choose text to columns.
-just hit the next button, then choose comma, then finish it.
-the last things is, find your Gen ID
-in my case, my item, it's leaded by dwSpecID
-i'm not guarantee that it's will be same as you but you could try it.
for more detail you can take a look at my picture.
ah forgot to mention, there is another way for us to know where is our Gen ID.
before you create a csv file, edit one of the item using item editor
change the value of Gen ID with the unique number and please remember this number
follow up the guides above, then in the end, you can search your unique Gen ID and viola,,,, you will found it,,,
this can be used in all version of ran online as long as you have item editor to edit your item.isf and make csv file from that
yippi,,, i thought there is nobody came to this thread,,, but i am wrong :)
